Buy WedUploader if owning the files is the point. Your guests upload, the files land in your Drive, they are yours, and nothing expires. For somebody who wants a folder they control and is happy to organise it themselves, that is the better product and we would rather say so.

The part their price does not include is Google. WedUploader stores nothing itself. Google gives you 15 GB free, and that 15 GB is shared with your Gmail and your Google Photos, so most people start well short of it. A wedding fills it. Their own FAQ’s answer is to download and delete, or to upgrade Google Drive to 100 GB for about $2 a month. So the honest price of “never expires” is $39 plus a storage subscription for as long as you want the photos.

clyqr is $39 and nothing after it. You get a gallery rather than a folder: photos in the order they happened, read from the time in each file, so the ceremony sits together even though half of it uploaded the next morning. You can also see the whole evening through one friend’s phone. Downloading everything at full size is free for you and for your guests, from the first day.

And where we are worse. We keep full-size originals for a year. After that the gallery stays, at viewing size, and the originals are gone unless you downloaded them. If you want the files in your own hands forever, WedUploader’s answer is better than ours, with the storage bill attached.
