No. They scan the QR code or tap the link, it opens in their browser, they enter a first name and pick photos. That’s the whole thing. It’s the single biggest reason people actually upload, because every install step loses a chunk of your guests.

No. You get the original file exactly as it came off your guest’s phone, on a free album as much as a paid one. iPhones shoot HEIC by default and that is stored as-is, so the shot you want to print is still printable.

You can download the whole album at full size, any time, and it costs nothing. Select the photos you want, or all of them, and they come down at the size the camera made them, with their original filenames. This works the same on a free album as on a paid one. There is no export fee, no upgrade to unlock your own photos, and nothing you have to keep paying to keep access.

No, and neither do your guests. The album is a web page, so it opens in whatever browser is already on the phone, laptop or TV. You sign in with a link we email you; guests just open the album link. There is nothing to install at any point, for anybody.

The same link and QR code they uploaded with. One code opens both the upload page and the gallery, so a guest who scanned it at your table can scan the same code a week later and see everything everyone added. You do not have to send anything new. Whether guests can browse at all is a switch in the album settings, set to open by default, and you can close it to host-only whenever you like.

Guests can, as long as the gallery is open to them. Anyone who can see the album can select photos and download them at full size, exactly as you can, and on a phone they get a Share button that hands the files to the phone's own share sheet. If you would rather they did not, there is a setting for exactly that: guests can be allowed to add photos only, to add and browse, or to add, browse, and download. Turning downloading off hides the buttons and withholds the file, though it cannot stop somebody taking a screenshot of what they can see.

Nothing disappears while anyone is still using it. The full-size originals are kept for a year on a paid album, and on a free one for 60 days after the last photo is added, up to six months from when the album was made, and we email you before they're archived so you can download them first. After that the gallery keeps working at viewing resolution. The only album we ever remove is one nobody has opened at all for two years, and we email you before that too. Uploading is the one thing with a clock on it, and it runs on quiet rather than on the calendar: a free album closes to new uploads after 30 days with nothing added, and one tap reopens it. A paid album takes uploads for a year.

Your first album is free, with 5 GB. Beyond that you buy album credits: one for $39, three for $99, or ten for $279. A credit is spent when you create an album, or applied to one you already have, and it raises that album to 30 GB and keeps its full-quality originals for a year. Credits never expire, so buying a pack is not a commitment to a date.

One at a time. Delete it and you can start another, as often as you like, because there is no cap on how many you make over time. Paid albums have no limit at all: you can hold as many as you have credits for, and they do not touch the free one.

No. Each album gets its own 30 GB, and unused space in one does not carry over to another. That is deliberate: an album is paid for once and then left alone for a year, so a shared pool would mean an album you finished with quietly eating room from one you had not started.

The long edge comes down to 2,560 pixels, which is around a quarter of the file size of a typical phone photo. It still prints cleanly at about 8 by 6 inches and looks the same on any screen. Nothing is deleted and the gallery carries on working. We email you before it happens, so you can download the originals first. Downloading is always free, before and after, at whatever size the album currently holds.

Only right after they upload it, as an undo, and only their own. Once they have left that screen it is the host's call. That way a guest can take back a mistake in the moment without being able to quietly remove something from your album a week later. You can delete anything, at any time.

Photos keep uploading. Past the cap they're stored at viewing size rather than full size, up to twice the cap on a free album and ten times on a paid one, and everything already stored keeps its original. Video is the exception: once an album is 80% full, new video is turned away so photos keep their room.

Yes. The album is reachable only by your link, you can add a passcode, close uploads whenever you like, and choose one of three levels for guests: add photos only, add and browse, or add, browse, and download. You can remove any photo.

You can delete anything from the gallery, on any album, and guests can report a photo to you privately. Reports come to you rather than to the room, so nothing is called out in front of your guests.
