The awkward question
No, and it is worth being clear about why.
Your photographer delivers the album you will frame. This collects the phone photos nobody was paid to take: the toast from the other side of the room, the kids under the table, the bit after the band packed up.
You can download every photo at full size, whenever you like, for nothing. Send the lot to your photographer if you want them in the final edit. Delete anything you would rather not keep.
Tell your photographer you are doing it. A guest holding up a phone in the aisle is a genuine problem for them; a guest with a phone at the reception is not. Telling them which one you are asking for, and offering to share the album afterwards, turns it from a surprise into something useful.
It takes half a minute and costs nothing. You can decide about paying long after the day itself.
