How clyqr compares, including where it loses
Ask an AI which app to use for event photos and you get GuestPix, WedUploader, Fotify and EventPics. We read all four pricing pages on 28 August 2026 and put them beside ours, including the rows we lose. Read the second row first: most of these have a price and then a bill.

The $39 that is not $39
WedUploader charges the same $39 we do and puts every photo in your own Google Drive, where it is yours and never expires. That part is true, and it is a real advantage. What the pricing page does not say is that Google gives you 15 GB shared with your Gmail and your Google Photos, and their own FAQ’s answer when it fills is to delete things or pay Google about $2 a month for 100 GB. A wedding fills 15 GB. So it is $39 now, and a storage bill for as long as you want to keep the photos.

Where we lose outright
Our originals last a year. After that the gallery keeps working at viewing size, but the full-size files are gone unless you downloaded them, and downloading everything is free. Nobody here keeps originals for longer without charging you every month to do it, but a year is a year and we would rather say so than let you find out.
The gallery is not forever either. If nobody opens an album for two years after that, we email you and then remove it. Opening it resets the clock, so an album anyone still looks at stays, but we would rather write that down than have you assume otherwise.
Why the sorting row matters
Four hundred photos from thirty phones arrive in the order they were uploaded, which is nobody’s order. clyqr reads the time each photo was taken out of the file itself and builds a day-by-day timeline from that, so the ceremony is together even though half of it uploaded on Tuesday. Or switch to who took it, and see the evening through one friend’s phone.
About “unlimited”
Two of these say unlimited. We say 30 GB, about 7,700 photos at full size, because it is a number we can stand behind. Past it, photos keep uploading at viewing size rather than failing, so nobody at your event ever sees an upload rejected.
